I earned my Bachelor of Education in Biology, Health, and Physical Education at the Queensland University of Technology.
Experience
I am currently a Biology and Head Physical Education teacher at Kirwan State High School with previous tutoring experiences as a volunteer in the community. I specialize in several subjects, such as Anatomy, Physiology, Sport and Exercise Science, Ecology, Genetics and Evolution, and Cell Biology. I am very familiar with the expectations and requirements to achieve good grades at universities. By providing engaging study sessions, I can help students enjoy themselves as they build their grasp of the topics they find difficult. I can adjust my teaching methods to line up with their learning style, such as using visual cues to help them better retain anatomical positions and planes or leading them through an intense conversation about the evolutionary process. I can help students stay focused and manage their time as they work on their homework as well.
