I have a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Aston University in the UK. I also have a Ph.D. in Human Reproduction from Southampton University.

I am ranked in the top 5% of lecturers in the Queensland University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for Human Reproduction and Cancer Biology. I have won many accolades, including an undergraduate lecture prize and World Health Scholarship, and an exchange research workers grant. I completed a fellowship at Queensland University.
