Education

I have a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. I specialized in Biomechanics during my time there, and I graduated in 2013 with honors. I also have a Foundation Certificate in Science and Engineering from the Sheffield International College in Sheffield. I graduated with distinction in 2009.

Experience

I was a lecturer for Engineering at the Kandy campus of the International College of Business and Technology in Sri Lanka for one year. My responsibilities at ICBT included preparing lecture material, delivering lectures in Automotive, Biomedical, Electrical, Civil Engineering. Some of the subjects of these lectures included communication skills, mathematics, applied physics, medical physics, engineering materials, and analytical methods for quantity surveying. I also organized practical sessions as required, acted as an internal verifier for the peer reviewing of assignments, and I assessed students during sessions and presentations when they presented their final research projects.
